New features in this release
- Custom configuration for browser extension
Administrators can now remotely configure F1E browser extension settings through FSM Custom Configuration without requiring agent rebuilds. See KB for more information.
- Better extension management on windows
A new screen introduced in the all in one installer lets you manage browser extentions in the end point. You can disable the management for a specific browser using this screen.
- Extension Registry Sub-Key Support
Browser extensions for Chrome and Edge are now enforced using the ExtensionSettings registry sub-key path on Windows, which takes priority over legacy enforcement methods. This ensures extensions remain enabled and aren't overridden by conflicting registry configurations.
- Internationalized Browser Extension Messages
Browser extension popup messages are now available in multiple languages, with automatic detection based on OS language preferences. Administrators can configure language templates and customize message strings via FSM Endpoint Profiles. This feature is not yet supported on the Safari browser. For implementation details, see KB
