1.   INTRODUCTION

The Boldon James System Classifier Support Tool is a diagnostic utility provided to assist in gathering the status of computer systems and configurations as well as diagnosing common Classifier faults. It is supplied in order to help to identify environmental status and system dependencies that may potentially impact the Classifier product suite and should be used for support purposes only.

NOTE: This diagnostic tool should be used solely under guidance from the Boldon James Support team.

The Classifier Support Tool applications consist of:

• A stand-alone executable, SupportTool.exe
• A MSI installer, ClassifierSupportTool.msi

A single 32-bit version is provided which can be ran on both 32 and 64 bit environments.

2.   SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

2.1 Operating System

·        Microsoft Windows Server 2008 or later.

·        Microsoft Windows Vista or later.

2.2 Software

·        Microsoft .NET Framework 4

3.   INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL INSTRUCTIONS

3.1   Installation

To To install the Boldon James Classifier Support Tool software, proceed as follows:

1.     Run the "ClassifierSupportTool.msi" from the installation media which will launch the Windows Installer, and follow the on screen instructions.

3.2   Removal

To To uninstall the Boldon James Classifier Support Tool software, proceed as follows:

1.     Uninstall Boldon James Classifier Support Tool using the Programs and Features Control.

4.    FURTHER INFORMATION

4.1 Licensing

The Classifier Support Tool is a diagnostic tool and therefore does not require a Classifier license in order to assist with identifying system info and diagnosing common system faults.
