1.   INTRODUCTION

The Boldon James Box Classifier is an integration application that controls documents labelled using Boldon James Classifier within the Box (www.box.com) environment. Box is a content management platform that helps people securely store, access, share, and collaborate on files across devices.  The Box platform does not recognise the Boldon James Classifier labels that may be attached to documents. Instead, it uses its own meta-data system for classification and access control. Boldon James Box Classifier automatically synchronises Boldon James Classifier labels with the Box meta-data system for classification.

4.   FURTHER INFORMATION

4.1 Licensing

Box Classifier requires a 'Box Classifier' licence which is provisioned using the Classifier Administration Console.

4.2 Limitations

The Box Cloud Storage system does not report an event when a user “makes current” a previous version of a document. This can result in a mismatch between the classification of the newly current version of the document and the associated Classifier Label. When further edits are made to the newly current version of the document, Box Classifier will resynchronize the classification and associated Classifier Label.
