1. INTRODUCTION
Notes Classifier requires a Classifier Configuration established and
published using the Classifier Administration component which can be
installed from the Classifier Base Bundle.
Notes Classifier comprises:
- A client plugin which adds Classifier functionality into the Lotus Notes mail application.
- Lotus Domino Server side scripts.
Notes Classifier is designed to interoperate with the Boldon James Email Classifier and Office Classifier products.

2. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
2.1 Hardware
- Any hardware that supports Lotus Notes 8.5.x and Lotus Domino Server 8.5.x in a Microsoft Windows environment.
- Any hardware that supports Lotus Notes 9.0.x and Lotus Domino Server 9.0.x in a Microsoft Windows environment.
2.2 Software – Server
- Lotus Domino Server 8.5.x
- Lotus Domino Server 9.0.x
2.3 Software – Client
- NB: Microsoft Windows operating systems only as supported by Lotus Notes
- Lotus Notes 8.5.x
- Lotus Notes 9.0.x

3. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Pre-requisites and Recommendations
We strongly
recommend your Boldon James Classifier Configuration has been published using Boldon
James Classifier Administration Console v3.8.0 or later. For details of creating
a Boldon James Classifier Configuration which supports Notes Classifier please
refer to the Boldon James Classifier Administration Guide on the Classifier
Administration media.
Installation / Un-installation
See the "Notes Classifier Installation Guide". This is available on the Classifier Administration media.
Silent Installation
The software can be installed without displaying a user interface. This is
possible using command line options. For example:-
msiexec /i "NotesClassifierClient.msi" /qn

- Notes Classifier implements a subset of Classifier functionality, for more detail on this

- Favourite labels are not supported on Lotus Notes 8.5
- Two draft messages remain in the Drafts folder when a message is created using the "Send as Attachment" option in Microsoft Office
- When Notes stops a message from being sent (e.g. spelling mistake or incorrect recipient information) then Classifier markings in the message body may be duplicated
when the message is resent.
- Responses to meeting requests are not labelled.
- First Line Of Text (FLOT) and Last Line Of Text (LLOT) markings only support plain text formatting.
- Editing and resending a message can result in extra spaces in the subject when using a suffix subject label.

6.0 Notes Classifier 3.8.7
- The Notes Classifier Server Script file BJ_0007A.COD has been added, and
the Notes Classifier Server Script files BJ_0003C.COD, BJ_0003N.COD, BJ_0004.COD, BJ_0005.COD, BJ_0009.COD and BJ_0010.COD have been updated.

- Replying adds extra spaces between email subject and subject label. (CSD 028141)
- LLOT label appended to last line rather than on a new line. (CSD 028150)
6.2 Notes Classifier 3.8.5
- The Notes Classifier Server Script files BJ_0003C.COD, BJ_0003N.COD, BJ_0004.COD, BJ_0005.COD, BJ_0009.COD and BJ_0010.COD have been updated.

- First Line Of Text (FLOT) and Last Line Of Text (LLOT) markings only support plain text formatting.

- LLOT is added in front of the text and turns into FLOT (CSD 027605)
