DSPMdata Users

The steps below apply to dspmdata users only.

Note: dspmdata includes all the features of dspmlight and additionally includes Structured Data.
  1. Deploy the DSPM solution as explained in Deploying Forcepoint DSPM (Standalone Solution).
  2. On first login, the Quick Start wizard launches automatically. Complete the Classification Settings step by selecting your Region, Country, and Industry. This loads the relevant DLP policy groups for your environment. See Quick Start.
  3. Select a data source and connect your account.
  4. Create your first scan. Discovery, classification, and risk analysis run automatically.
  5. View scan results on the Dashboard. See Dashboard.
  6. Review and manage active DLP policies under Administration. See DLP Policies.
  7. Review the Classification Model to understand how your DLP policies classify your data. See Classification Model.
  8. Configure and scan your database sources using Structured Data. See Structured Data.
