The steps below apply to dspm, focus, enterprise, ultimate, ultimateddr, ultimateepd, ultimateplus, ultimatedata, ultddrdata, and ultimateextra versions users only.

Note: All license tiers listed above follow the same core deployment steps. The difference between them is which optional features are available after the core setup is complete. See Understanding Your On-Prem License and Feature Access for a full breakdown of which features are included in each tier.
  • ultimateddr adds Streaming (DDR).
  • ultimateepd adds Endpoint Discovery.
  • ultimateplus adds Streaming (DDR) and Endpoint Discovery.
  • ultimatedata adds Structured Data.
  • ultddrdata adds Streaming (DDR) and Structured Data.
  • ultimateextra adds Streaming (DDR), Endpoint Discovery, and Structured Data.
  1. Log in to Forcepoint Data Security Cloud console using your existing credentials. If you are a new user, see User Management.
  2. Under the left navigation, click DSPM to launch the application.
  3. Complete the Quick Start wizard to connect your first data source and run your first scan. See Quick Start.
  4. Configure additional data sources and set up scans. See Administration.
  5. Set up organisational policies, data owners, department information, taxonomy, and data mapping. See Policy Center.
  6. View scan results and monitor your data risk posture. See Dashboard.
  7. Create custom dashboards and widgets for in-depth analysis. See Analytics.
  8. Review the Classification Model to understand how detectors and AI classifiers are working in your environment. See Classification Model.
