System requirements

Before installing Neo, verify the system requirements for your endpoints.

The following table provides hardware requirements for your Neo endpoints.

Neo is compatible with Forcepoint DLP 8.8.1 (or later) and Forcepoint F1E 21.03 (or later).

Processor	2 cores with 1 GHz or faster
RAM	2 GB (4 recommended)
Hard drive space	16 GB for 32-bit OS 32 GB for 64-bit OS At least 3 GB free disk space for operations
Internet connection	Internet connectivity is mandatory to retrieve policies and updates, and to report alerts to Neo cloud management. Neo remains fully operational and monitors user activities, including storing alerts and events locally on the hard drive when disconnected from the internet. All information stored locally is reported to the cloud when internet connectivity is restored.
Operating system	Windows 11 Neo is supported on Windows 11. Windows 10 Neo is supported on Windows 10; the supported Windows 10 version is based on the Microsoft end-of-life policy as detailed in this article: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/release-information/ macOS 11 Neo is supported on macOS Big Sur 11 (with SIP enabled) Processor: Neo on macOS is supported on Intel processors, and on Apple Silicon (ARM) processors. macOS 12 Neo is supported on macOS Monterey (with SIP enabled).
