Neo 22.04 Maintenance

The Neo v22.04 maintenance release contains the following updates:
  • Neo 22.04 adds support for the upcoming Cloud Security Gateway cloud proxy change of the default proxy base domain from blackspider.com to forcepoint.net.
  • Upgraded OpenSSL to latest version to prevent potential security vulnerabilities.
  • Neo 22.04 adds encrypted user identity (X-WS-Auth) to web requests that are sent to the Forcepoint proxy server even if the proxy server hostname has base domain that is different from blackspider.com
  • Traffic was sent directly instead of being redirected to Cloud Security Gateway cloud Proxy by Neo Web when it was working as a transparent proxy, and the proxy server hostname that was returned from the PAC getProxyForUrl had base domain that was different from blackspider.com. This issue is resolved.
  • In DCEP mode, when the web site performs HTTP redirection (status code 302) from HTTPS to HTTP, the page could not be displayed. This issue is resolved.
  • When Neo Web protection service was started before the user performed login, then Neo remains in a fallback mode and does not filter or block web traffic. This issue is resolved.
  • When using Neo 22.03 in PCEP mode, the PAC file configured by Cloud Security Gateway returned 2 PROXY servers separated by a semicolon, for example: ‘PROXY proxy1.internal.test.com:8080; PROXY hybrid-web.global.blackspider.com:8081’, as a result the internet connectivity was broken, and browser could not display the webpage even if the proxies were running and reachable. This issue is resolved in Neo 22.04.
