Neo v22.01 Hotfix

Forcepoint Neo 22.01 is a hotfix release that contains performance improvements and several bug fixes.

The Neo v22.01 contains the following updates:
  • Fixed an issue where end-users could not browse websites if Forcepoint Dynamic User Protection was installed on the system, and the internet access from this system requires traffic to be redirected via a proxy server that requires authentication.
  • Fixed an issue where Forcepoint Neo Web Control for macOS consumed high CPU which slowed the display of web pages.
  • Fixed an issue where Forcepoint Neo Web is in DCEP mode and CSG configuration is set to bypass proxy for specific URLs, and Neo Web was still doing SSL decryption whilst it should not.
  • Fixed an issue where Forcepoint Neo Web was in fallback mode and modified the current system proxy settings. Now when in fallback mode system proxy settings are not modified.
  • Fixed an issue where Forcepoint Neo Web for macOS did not redirect traffic to Cloud Security Gateway if the machine was disconnected from the network and then restarted without network connectivity, and then the network connectivity was activated again after restart.
  • Fixed an issue where disabling system pac settings by end user allowed the user 5-10 seconds opportunity to access web applications that should be blocked by the corporate policy settings.
