Neo classifier

The Neo classifier for Windows and macOS endpoints enriches alerts from both Forcepoint DLP and User Activity Monitoring.

The Neo classifier, added in v21.06, improves IoB efficacy by detecting the following classifications:

HIPAA
Intellectual property
Payment Card Industry (PCI)
Protected Health Information (PHI) (US)
Personally Identifiable Information (PII) (US)
Personally Identifiable Information (PII) (DE) – Germany
Personally Identifiable Information (PII) (FR) - France
Personally Identifiable Information (PII) (IT) - Italy

The Alert details panel now includes a new "Classification" section for alerts with content flagged by the Neo and DLP classifiers. When using Risk-Adaptive DLP, Dynamic User Protection reports Neo classifier information only for the following collectors:

Network Share
Removable Storage
Endpoint Application
Cloud Desktop
Local Hard Drive
