Checking the Prerequisites Before Connecting Claude

Gather what you need from your Claude account before you connect Claude, so that you can complete the connection without leaving the Connect App panel.

Claude needs one credential: a Compliance Access Key generated in your Claude account. Without it, AI Security cannot scan the content of Claude interactions.

Steps

  1. Confirm that you have administrator access to your organization's Claude account.
  2. Confirm that the Compliance API is available in your Claude account.
  3. Generate a Compliance Access Key.
  4. Store the key securely so that you can enter it in the Connect App panel.
  5. Confirm that you have permission to manage connectors in Forcepoint Data Security Cloud.

Result

You have everything you need to connect Claude.
