Finding Your Application Client ID in Microsoft Entra

Retrieve the application (client) ID from your Microsoft Entra app registration. AI Security uses it to identify the connector to your Microsoft tenant.

Before you begin

You must have registered an application in Microsoft Entra for the Copilot connector.

Steps

  1. Sign in to the Microsoft Entra admin center as an administrator.

  2. Open the app registration you created for the Copilot connector.

  3. Locate the application (client) ID on the overview page.

    The application (client) ID is a globally unique identifier.

  4. Copy the application (client) ID.

Result

You have the application (client) ID to enter in Client ID when you connect Microsoft Copilot.
