Understanding What a Connector Card Shows
Each AI application on the App Connectors page has its own card. The card tells you whether the application is connected, how its traffic is inspected, and whether the connection is still working.
The page groups the cards under two headings, CONNECTED and NOT CONNECTED, with a count of applications beside each heading. The two kinds of card show different information.
A connected application
Table 1. What each part of a connected card shows
| Part of the card | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Connected badge | The credentials you supplied are valid and AI Security is monitoring this application. |
| Inspection method | How this application's traffic is inspected. API Inspection means AI Security reads the application's own activity through its API. |
| Active policies | How many data security policies currently apply to this application. |
| Credentials | The credentials configured for the connection. |
| Synced | The date and time AI Security last exchanged data with the application. |
| Manage connector | Opens the connector's details, where you can update credentials, change its settings, or remove it. |
An application that is not connected
These cards carry a Not connected badge, the inspection method, a short description of what the connector does, and a button that starts the connection. The button always names the application, for example Connect ChatGPT, so you can tell at a glance what you are about to connect.
