Deleting an Agent Group

Remove an agent group permanently, without removing the agents in it.

Deleting a group removes only the grouping. The agents stay registered and keep working, because their own connector access and token policy are held on the agent, not on the group.

What does change is any access policy that referred to the group. The group is what the policy used to identify its agents, so once the group is gone the policy has nothing to match.

Steps

  1. Check which access policies refer to the group.

Go to AI Security › Policy and review the policies on the Access Policies tab. This matters more than the deletion itself, because a policy left with no valid scope stops taking effect while still appearing enabled.

  2. Go to Admin › Agent Management.

  3. Click Agent Groups.

  4. Find the group you want to remove.

Use Search group if the list is long.

  5. Click the group.

The panel opens, titled with the name of the group, showing its description and its members.

  6. Click Delete Group at the bottom left of the panel.

  7. Confirm the removal when you are prompted.

The panel closes and the group is removed from the list.

Result

The group no longer exists. Every agent that belonged to it remains registered and continues to work as before.
