Viewing the Tools Available for a Selected Connector

Review the tools you can name in a policy once you have chosen the connector it applies to.

The Available tools list shows the tools exposed by the connector you selected. These are the values you can add to the policy destination.

Steps

1. Open the Add Policy panel.

2. Expand Destination.

3. From the Gateway Connectors list, select the connector.

   The tools that connector exposes are listed under Available tools.

4. Select Any, Write, or Read to filter the list.

   Filtering by Write shows only the tools that change data in the business application.

5. Scroll the list to review the tools available.

Result

You can see the tools available for the selected connector and add the ones the policy should govern.

This list shows the technical name of each tool only. To see the display name and the kind of access each tool has, open the Manage connector panel for that connector.
