Deactivating a Connector

Pause inspection and policy enforcement for Microsoft Copilot without removing its connector.

Deactivate the Copilot connector when you need to suspend monitoring temporarily. To stop monitoring permanently, or to stop monitoring Claude or ChatGPT, remove the connector instead.

Steps

1. Open the details of the connector.
2. Locate the Status section.
3. Select the toggle to set the connector to inactive.
4. Select Save.

Result

The connector is inactive. Inspection and policy enforcement are paused for the application, and its configuration is retained.

Next steps

To resume monitoring, activate the connector again.
