Searching for a Specific Tool

Find a tool by name instead of scrolling through the full list of tools a connector exposes.

A connector can expose dozens of tools. Searching is the quickest way to find one when you already know its name.

Steps

  1. Open the Add Policy panel.

  2. Expand Destination.

  3. From the Gateway Connectors list, select the connector.

  4. In the Search box above Available tools, enter the name of the tool.

    The list shows only the tools that match what you entered.

Result

The tool you are looking for is displayed and ready to add to the policy destination.

Next steps

If the tool does not appear, check that you have selected the correct connector and that the view type filter is not hiding it. A write tool does not appear while Read is selected.
