Understanding Why No Agent Activity Is Detected
An empty Detected Agents panel means no AI agents have acted on this application during the reporting period. That is normal for an application people use by typing into it.
The panel reports agents observed acting on this application. Nothing listed means nothing observed — it does not mean anything has failed.
The usual reasons
- Nobody uses agents with this application. The most common reason. People are using it directly, so every interaction has a person behind it and no agent to detect.
- Your agents reach other applications. An agent registered in Agent Management only appears here if it acts on this particular application.
- Agents are registered but not yet routed. Registering an agent does not by itself send its traffic through AI Security. Until the agent is configured to use your gateway URL, nothing it does is visible.
- Nothing happened in the reporting period. Widen the period to check whether agents were active earlier.
You can confirm which of these applies by comparing the panel against the Agent Identities card at the top of the page. If that card also reads zero, no agent activity was recorded at all.
