Understanding an Unknown Health Status

Interpret a health status of Unknown on a connector that is otherwise connected.

Health status and connection status are separate. Connection status tells you whether the connector is configured and authenticated. Health status tells you whether AI Security has recently confirmed that the connection is working.

A health status of Unknown means AI Security has not yet established a health result for the connector. It does not by itself mean the connector has failed.

Steps

  1. Open the details of the connector.

  2. Check the connection status shown at the top of the panel.

    If the status is Connected, the connector is authenticated.

  3. Check the last sync time.

    A recent sync indicates the connector is reaching the AI application even when the health status has not been established.

  4. Check whether the application's activity appears on the AI Governance Dashboard.

  5. If no activity appears and the connector has not synced recently, update the credentials on the connector.

Result

You know whether the connector is working, regardless of the health status shown.
