Checking the Prerequisites Before Connecting ChatGPT

Gather your OpenAI account details before you connect ChatGPT, so that you can complete the connection without leaving the Connect App panel.

To connect ChatGPT, AI Security needs credentials and identifiers from your OpenAI account. Collect all of them before you begin.

Steps

1. Confirm that you have administrator access to your organization's OpenAI account.

   You need administrator access to generate credentials and to retrieve your organization and workspace identifiers.

2. Generate your OpenAI credentials for ChatGPT.

3. Retrieve your API platform organization ID.

4. Retrieve the workspace IDs you want AI Security to inspect.

   Record every workspace ID you need. AI Security cannot list your workspaces for you, so you must supply the identifiers yourself.

5. Confirm the admin API base URL your organization uses.

   Most organizations use the default OpenAI admin API base URL. Change it only if your organization uses a different endpoint.

6. Confirm that you have permission to manage connectors in Forcepoint Data Security Cloud.
