Starting to Populate the Dashboard With Data
Set up the connections AI Security needs so that the AI Governance Dashboard begins reporting activity.
The dashboard reports on what AI Security can inspect. Each section fills only once the corresponding connection is in place.
Table 1. What each dashboard section needs
| Dashboard section | What it needs |
|---|---|
| Sanctioned AI Apps | An app connector for each AI application you have approved. |
| MCP Gateway Connections | A gateway connector, registered agents, and agents configured to use your gateway URL. |
| Unsanctioned AI Apps | Traffic inspection across your organization. No connector is required. |
| Identity Landscape | Activity from either app connectors or gateway connectors. |
Steps
- Connect each AI application your organization has sanctioned.
- Confirm that each app connector shows a status of Connected.
- Add a gateway connector for each business application your AI agents need to reach.
- Authorize each gateway connector.
- Register the AI agents that will use those connectors.
- Configure each agent to route its calls through your gateway URL.
- Return to the AI Governance Dashboard and refresh it.
Result
The dashboard begins reporting activity as it is inspected.
Next steps
Activity does not appear instantly. Connectors sync on their own schedule, and some AI applications provision their inspection interfaces at their own pace, so data can take from a few minutes to a few hours to appear.
