Understanding What the Summary Cards Show

Three cards sit above the agent list. Read together, they tell you how many agents exist, how many of them can currently connect, and whether any of them are actually being used.

Table 1. What each card counts

Card What it counts
Registered Agents Every agent registered in your environment, whether or not it is working.
Active Tokens How many of those agents hold a token that is still valid. An agent without one cannot reach your business applications through the gateway.
Calls Today How many calls your agents have made through the gateway today.

Reading the first two together

The relationship between the first two cards is the useful part.

When Registered Agents and Active Tokens match, every agent you have registered is able to connect. That is the healthy state.

When Active Tokens is the lower of the two, the difference is the number of agents that cannot currently work. Their tokens have expired or been revoked, and they need new ones before they can call anything. Check the Token column in the list below to find which ones.
