Setting applications for API and selective scanning

In order to gain visibility into data at rest in your cloud applications you will first need to authorize Forcepoint ONE SSE to access your corporate account via the API in any application you wish to provide API scanning.

After Forcepoint ONE SSE has been authorized to access your corporate cloud application account, you need to configure selective scanning to tell Forcepoint ONE SSE what information should be scanned and how much data in your account should scan via the API.

Scanning will also be applied to image files (.png and .tiff) as well as images that are embedded inside of PDF files.

Note: If the PDF contains readable text, then images won't be OCR'd. Instead the text will be scanned for DLP pattern matches. If there are no readable text contained in the pdf (for example the PDF is an image scan) then the images will be OCR'd and scanned.
