Deploying Forcepoint F1E agents and the Neo agent on an endpoint machine

Neo is a new endpoint agent that communicates with the new Forcepoint DynamicUser Protection solution. Neo is not a Forcepoint One Endpoint agent.

If you plan to install the Neo agent along with one or more Forcepoint One Endpoint agents on an endpoint machine, they must be installed in the following order:
  • Install the Forcepoint One Endpoint agents (v20.09 or later for Windows and v21.03 or later for Mac) through the package builder.
  • Install Neo.

If you install Neo before Forcepoint One Endpoint, then Forcepoint One Endpoint uninstalls Neo. There is one exception: The Forcepoint One Endpoint does not uninstall Neo if the Forcepoint One Endpoint package contains Forcepoint DLP Endpoint. The Forcepoint DLP Endpoint and Neo installation is a supported installation for Risk-Adaptive DLP (Windows only).
