Pre-upgrade activities

Before applying the upgrade, perform the following tasks and be aware of the following issues.

If you’re not already familiar with the preparation required for upgrade of off-appliance components, review those requirements before upgrading your appliances.

Before upgrading, see the X Series Appliances Certified Product Matrix to determine the correct BIOS version. If necessary, upgrade the BIOS before upgrading the appliance.
