Release code

A release code is required to manually uninstall the agent and to unlock the agent diagnostic tool to enable advanced troubleshooting for Windows. The Forcepoint ONE Data Security administrator can generate a release code from the cloud portal for one or all endpoints using the following time restrictions:

Short term (valid up to 1 hour)
Long term (valid up to 24 hours)

In both case the remaining validity time is displayed int he Cloud Portal when generating a release code.

Note: Uninstalling the agent using 3rd party tools (like MECM or JAMF) does not require a release code.
