The Japan Personal Information Protection Law (PIP) states a set of obligations for companies handling personal data. The law protects individuals by regulating the handling of
information by private sector businesses. The policy contains rules to protect Japan PII (Personally Identifiable Information), either alone or with a credit card number. The rules for
