Iceland Privacy Act
The Iceland Act on Protection of Individuals with regard to the Processing of Personal Information (law 77/2000) follows the EU Data Protection Directive and restricts the processing,
storage, and transmission of personal and sensitive information. The predefined policy comprises rules for detecting Icelandic identification numbers (Kennitala) of individuals and DNA
profiles. The rules for this policy are:
- Iceland Privacy Act: Kennitala of Individuals (Default)
- Iceland Privacy Act: Kennitala of Individuals (Wide)
- Iceland Privacy Act: DNA Sequence
