Troubleshooting
If you run into issues with the REST APIs, check the following:
- Application errors are available by default and are printed in Websense/Data Security/tomcat/logs/dlp/dlp-all.log
- Debug logs are available under Websense/Data Security/tomcat/lib/log4j- dlp.properties in the #REST API section. These entries are printed into dlp-all.log after being opened.
- Special characters encoding for the query parameters are available in the https://howto.caspio.com/tech-tips-and-articles/tech-parameters/using-special-characters-in-query-string/.
Note: It takes about a minute to pull 10,000 incidents with a payload size of 25MB. The performance also depends on other factors such as latency and FSM workload state.
