High-level deployment overview

Here are the key tasks for getting started with Forcepoint DSPM. Forcepoint DSPM can be deployed as a standalone solution and also use as a service from within Forcepoint Data Security Cloud.

1. Deploy Forcepoint DSPM as explained in section - Deploying Forcepoint DSPM (Standalone Solution).
2. Setup user accounts from Keycloak as explained in section - User Management (Standalone Solution). if you are using Forcepoint DSPM as a standalone solution. If you are using Forcepoint DSPM as a service from within Forcepoint Data Security Cloud then see User Management (SaaS).
3. Forcepoint DSPM Quick Start as explained in section - Quick start.
4. Configure data sources and set up scans as explained in section - Administration.
5. Setup organizational policies, data owners, department information, taxonomy, and data mapping as explained in section - Policy Center.
6. View scan results as explained in section - Dashboard.
7. Create dashboards adding custom widgets to get in depth analytics as explained in section - Analytics.
8. Configure other features like streaming as explained in section - Streaming.
