Upgrade Paths

If you are running Forcepoint Email Security version 8.5.5, you can upgrade directly to Forcepoint Email Security version 8.5.7. If you are running any other previous version of Forcepoint Email Security or TRITON AP-EMAIL, you must perform intermediate upgrades.

• To migrate from Forcepoint Email Security version 8.5.5 to version 8.5.7, you must first install Forcepoint Email Security version 8.5.5 hotfix 302.
• To migrate from Forcepoint Email Security version 8.5.5 to version 8.5.7 in Azure, you must first install Forcepoint Email Security version 8.5.5 hotfix 303 on the source appliance.
• To upgrade the virtual appliance to Forcepoint Email Security version 8.5.7, you must add a 26 GB virtual hard disk to the virtual appliance.
• To upgrade from Forcepoint Email Security version 8.5.5 to version 8.5.7, you must install Appliance version 8.5.5 hotfix 300 (applicable only for OVA – Virtual appliance) and Email Security Gateway version 8.5.5 hotfix 3.
• To upgrade from Forcepoint Email Security version 8.5.6 to version 8.5.7, you must install Appliance version 8.5.6 hotfix 300 (applicable only for OVA – Virtual appliance) and Appliance version 8.5.6 hotfix 1.
