Supported modes and upgrade scenarios

This Forcepoint Agent macOS version supports the following:
  • Hybrid DLP mode, enabling administrators to use On-Prem DLP and Cloud capabilities.
  • Web Security in either Proxy Connect (PCEP) or Direct Connect (DCEP) mode
  • Direct upgrade from Forcepoint F1E and F1A

Over-The-Air (OTA) updates support

From this version onwards, Forcepoint Agent supports Over-The-Air (OTA) updates.

Forensic support

The Forcepoint Agent on macOS includes full forensics capabilities, enabling administrators to capture, securely store, and upload forensic evidence of data loss policy violations to the cloud.

Forensic evidence can now be captured across all supported macOS DLP channels:

  • Email – Apple Mail and Microsoft Outlook
  • Web – Browser-based uploads and posts
  • LAN – Network file share activity
  • USB – Removable storage transfers
  • Printer – Print channel activity
  • File Access – Local file access operations
