Set the SMC Client location

When there is a NAT device between the SMC Client and a Log Server, select the correct Location for your SMC Client. Make the selection in the status bar at the bottom of the SMC Client window to be able to view logs.

Note: You must select the SMC Client Location separately in each administrative Domain if there are multiple Domains in your environment.

Steps

  1. In the SMC Client, click the Default Location name in the status bar at the bottom of the window.
  2. Select the Location that includes the IP address or network of the computer where you use the SMC Client.
