Atlassian: Deploying Forcepoint Data Security Cloud | App Security as a SAML IdP

Steps to create Atlassian application to Forcepoint Data Security Cloud | App Security portal. After you have added the Atlassian application, you will need to configure your application to point to Forcepoint Data Security Cloud | App Security for SSO authentication.

Requirements

Requirements and prerequisites for integrating Forcepoint Data Security Cloud | App Security reverse proxy controls for Atlassian using the Forcepoint Data Security Cloud | App Security Identity Provider.

  • Forcepoint Data Security Cloud | App Security Requirements and Prerequisites:
    • Forcepoint Data Security Cloud | App Security System Administrator access to the Forcepoint Data Security Cloud | App Security Administrator Portal.
    • Users and Groups provisioned to Forcepoint Data Security Cloud | App Security IAM.
    • At least one test user is not assigned the System Administrator role.
  • Atlassian Prerequisites:
    • Atlassian administrator login assigned the ORG Admin role with a username domain that is different from the Federated domain.
    • At least one test user that maps to a user identity provisioned in Forcepoint Data Security Cloud | App Security IAM.
    • An organizational domain verified by Atlassian.
    • Atlassian tenant subscribed to the following products:
      • Jira Software and/or Confluence
      • Atlassian Access
      • Access & Security Automation for Jira – Okta & Azure SSO Cloud
