Testing the authentication process

As with all setups it's important to test the authentication process to ensure settings were configured correctly. Open a new browser window and navigate to https://mail.google.com or https://drive.google.com where you will see a redirect to an SSO portal.

Steps

  1. Login as a user and you should successfully authenticate to Google Apps.
  2. Verify that the URL is https://mail-google-com.eu.bitglass.net/ or https://drive-google-com.eu.bitglass.net/ which means that your Google Apps traffic is going though Forcepoint Data Security Cloud | App Security to provide visibility and data protection.
