Limited Availability Features
The table below lists Forcepoint Web Security Cloud features that are in a limited availability status. Limited availability features may have been released recently, or may need to be approved by your account manager before being added for your organization, due to additional configuration requirements, or other considerations.
If you are interested in enabling any of these features for your account, please contact Technical Support.
Feature | Description |
---|---|
Custom Category API |
The Web Custom Category API is enabled on demand to Forcepoint Web Security Cloud customers. It allows administrators to manage their Web Custom Categories via API endpoints instead of using the management portal and provide the same level of operations (Create, Read, Update, Delete) in a secure and efficient manner. |
F1E-SEA coexistence |
F1E-SEA coexistence is a feature enabled on-demand to customers who have subscription to both CASB and Web Security and are looking to utilize the SmartEdge Agent (SEA) in conjunction with Forcepoint 1 Endpoint (F1E) on the same machines. (note that F1E is already compatible in Direct connect mode out of the box). The feature allows customers using F1E in Proxy connect mode and ensures the steering happens consistently while using the Smart Edge Agent (SEA) for CASB SaaS applications. Agent and agent less deployments are broadly available within Forcepoint. |
Dedicated IP |
Forcepoint dedicated IP address is an add-on feature that routes the customer's web traffic through Forcepoint cloud, ensuring the traffic egress via IP addresses exclusively assigned to a customer tenant by Forcepoint. These addresses are not shared with other customers, allowing admins to define advanced security configuration such as multi-factor authentication policies with their business partners and public or private cloud applications. |
Remote Browser Isolation |
Send blocked web requests to a third-party remote browser isolation provider, allowing the web page to be viewed outside of the organization's network. For further information, see Configure Remote Browser Isolation in the Security Portal Help. |
