Getting started with Snort inspection on NGFW Engines

Snort inspection on NGFW Engines allows you to use externally created Snort rule sets for inspection.

You can use both NGFW deep inspection and Snort inspection for the same traffic, or you can use only NGFW deep inspection or only Snort inspection.

Snort inspection is supported for NGFW Engines in the Firewall/VPN, IPS, and Layer 2 Firewall roles.
