Getting started with the Logs view
The Logs view displays all logs for the SMCaaS Application.
You can view many types of log entries from any number of components together or individually.
While you can view active alerts in the Logs view, you must acknowledge active alerts in the Active Alerts view.
By default, the Logs view fetches data from the active log storage folder for all data servers, except those are excluded from log browsing. Active logs for SMCaaS Application are retained for quick access by administrators for the latest eight weeks (60 days), after which they are overwritten.
The SMCaaS Application store all logs that other elements have sent to it as well as audit data for the SMCaaS's own operation. Audit logs are retained for as long as the tenant's subscription is valid, with an additional 60 day grace period.
