Exclude rules from policy validation
If you do not want to validate a certain rule in the policy, you can exclude the rule from policy validation.
Steps
Right-click the rule in the Issues pane and select Disable All Issues for the Rule.
The rule is no longer checked when you validate the policy. A green check mark is added to the rule’s ID
cell in the rule table. It shows that the rule’s Validation Settings are not the same as the policy’s Validation Settings.
