Uploading policies as local alternative policies

Up to three local alternative policies can be uploaded from SMCaaS Application to the Engine and not applied.

1. Select Engine Configuration.
2. Right-click the Engine, then select Configuration > Install Policy.
   The Upload Policy Task Properties dialog box displays:

   • In the Policy field, select the policy to be uploaded.
   • In the Upload as drop down, the administrator can select up to three Local Alternative Policy.
