New Web Categories: Cryptocurrency and Crypto Mining

Starting Dec 6, 2025, Cloud Web Security will include two new categories for enhanced control and visibility:
  • Cryptocurrency: default action = Allowed
  • Crypto Mining: default action = Blocked

    Administrators can start to manage these categories across policies, exceptions. Be aware that URLs will only be posted to these new categories from January 15, 2026 to allow admins to manage the transition without any impact on current traffic. For more information please refer this KBA.
