Use the page to block and lock access to or lock logging of selected protocols for all clients managed by delegated administration roles.
Note: Protocol logging is associated with protocol usage alerts. You cannot generate usage alerts for a protocol unless it is set for logging in at least one protocol filter. Enabling
the Lock protocol logging option through the Filter Lock assures that usage alerts can be generated for the protocol. See Configuring protocol usage
alerts.
Steps
-
Select a protocol in the tree.
Delegated administration roles do have access to custom protocols created by the Super Administrator. Therefore, custom protocols do appear in this tree.
-
Set the restrictions for this protocol in the box that appears beside the protocol tree.
