Logging on to the Security Manager
The Forcepoint Security Manager is the central configuration interface used to manage software configuration and settings for Forcepoint software modules. This web-based tool runs on a variety of popular browsers (see the Certified Product Matrix for details).
Although it is possible to launch the Security Manager using non-supported browsers, the application may not display properly and some features may not appear.
Account lockout after multiple failed attempts: When an administrator attempting to login fails for 'X' times (default value is set to 6) in an interval of ‘Z’ seconds (default value set to 30 seconds), the Forcepoint Security Manager will automatically lock the admin account for 'Y' minutes (default value is set to 10 minutes). Starting with this release, this feature is enabled by default in the database. For disabling the feature or changing the configuration of 'X', 'Y' and 'Z', see the Enabling Brute Force Login Protection (Account Lockout) for Forcepoint Management Infrastructure Access knowledge base article.
