Deploying Outlook Add-in

You must install the Outlook Add-in feature to monitor content when new Microsoft Outlook runs on macOS.

Note: To monitor content via the Outlook Add-in, the macOS Forcepoint Agent must be installed on the system.

The Forcepoint Agent leverages the Outlook on-send feature to apply an organizations DLP policy to emails that a user is sending on their endpoint using the Outlook Email client. You must install the Forcepoint Outlook Add-in prior to the installation of the macOS agent on the endpoint.

CAUTION:

When using the Upload and share option in new Outlook, files are uploaded to OneDrive and shared via a link. This may expose sensitive data if link access is not properly restricted.
