Configuring Physical Interfaces for Virtual Layer 2 Engines

Physical interfaces for Virtual Layer 2 Engines represent interfaces allocated to the Virtual Layer 2 Engine in the Master Secure SD-WAN Engine.

When you select the Virtual Resource for the Virtual Layer 2 Engine, physical interfaces are automatically created based on the interface configuration of the Master Secure SD-WAN Engine. The number of physical interfaces depends on the number of interfaces allocated to the Virtual Layer 2 Engine in the Master Secure SD-WAN Engine. It is not recommended to create new physical interfaces in the Virtual Layer 2 Engine properties, as they might not be valid.
