Creating a Data Security Policy

Add a policy when the ones you have do not protect the data you are concerned about. Data security policies are created on the Forcepoint Data Security portal and appear read only in AI Security.

Creating a policy takes two stages, and the policy does nothing until both are complete. You create the policy first, then add at least one rule to it. Until it has a rule, the policy is disabled: it detects nothing and does not count as an active policy in AI Security.

You start on the Data Security tab in AI Security and finish on the Forcepoint Data Security Cloud portal.
