View log entries from specific servers and archive folders

You can specify which servers and storage folders to include.

By default, the Logs view fetches data from the active log storage folder for all data storage servers, except those Log Servers that are excluded from log browsing. Active logs for SMCaaS Application are retained for quick access by tenant administrators for the latest eight weeks (60 days), after which they are overwritten.

You view logs from the active storage folder on specific servers. You can also view logs from archives stored on Log storage or archives stored locally on the computer where you are using the SMCaaS Application. In an environment with multiple Engines, active alerts are automatically replicated in the SMCaaS Application. It store all logs that other components have sent to it as well as audit data for the SMCaaS Application’s own operation. Audit logs are retained for as long as the tenant's subscription is valid, with an additional 60-day grace period.
