Third stage – Profile update

In the beginning of this stage, an endpoint profile change was made and deployed. This caused the Profile version to advance, making the endpoint clients’ profile out of date. During this interval, each endpoint downloads the new profile when it reaches their update time in the interval. Since the other components (Policy, Fingerprints) remain unchanged, they do not need to be downloaded.

As this resource is the smallest of the three, network utilization is lower than all other stages.

The following screenshot shows the system in mid-update. The endpoints with a green check next to them are up to date, while the ones with a red X next to them still needs updates.
