Assigning and deploying the app

Assign the app to a test device group first, validate the deployment, and then expand the rollout.

Steps

  1. Open the app in Intune and go to Assignments.
  2. Assign the app to a small test device group first, as Required, to validate the full flow end-to-end.
  3. Sync the test-enrolled macOS endpoint, or wait for the next check-in cycle.
  4. Monitor Device install status within the app's Intune page to confirm a successful install.
  5. Once validated, expand the assignment to broader device groups as appropriate for your organization's rollout plan.
