Uploading the wrapper package to Microsoft Intune

Add the signed and notarized wrapper package to the Microsoft Intune admin center as a macOS Line-of-Business app.

Steps

  1. Sign in to the Microsoft Intune admin center.
  2. Navigate to Apps > macOS > Add.
  3. For App type, select Line-of-business app, and then choose Select.
  4. Under App package file, browse to and select the signed and notarized package, WebsenseEndpointInstaller-signed.pkg.
  5. Complete the App information page: name, description, publisher, category, and logo.
    Note: macOS LOB apps require a logo to be visible in the apps list.
  6. Set the Minimum operating system to a version that WebsenseEndpoint supports and that your device fleet is running.
  7. Review Ignore app version and Install as managed, and set them to suit your deployment.
    Both can typically be left at their defaults for a first deployment.
  8. Proceed to Review + Create to finish adding the app.
